A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.
Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend – the weather here was insane and although I took advantage of it some, it wasn’t nearly enough. Hoping it stays like this for a little longer until summer officially starts.
Lots of variety in my workouts last week and I’m kind of loving it. This would usually freak me out. The past 10 years or so I’ve been pretty consistent in working out. I stuck with running for a few years, then moved onto CrossFit religiously, and have been combing the two the past couple years. Well it hasn’t looked like that at all recently. I’m lucky to get in 2-3 CrossFit workouts a week (last week was only one!).
I talked about it the other week, but my body just needs a break from so much working out all the time. It’s been really nice to just go with the flow and not put so much pressure on myself. I’ve been mixing it up and trying new things and really liking it so far. That being said, I have been a little all over the place and would like to get more of a schedule going in my workouts. While it feels good to give my body a break, I don’t want to be too lax about not working out and make it a priority a handful of days out of the week.
