A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.

A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week - Eat the Gains

Happy Monday! I had an awesome weekend of being majorly productive and I’m so excited to keep it going this week! Expect for the fact that I couldn’t fall asleep last night. What gives body?!

Anyways, how was the first week of the new year for you? Did you stick to your goals and resolutions? I know it might be silly to ask that and it’s only 8 days into the new year, but a lot of people set goals and forget about them pretty quickly. I think most people fall off their new year’s resolutions in a month or two.

As for working out, I had a good week last week. I really want to get back into the kind of shape I was in last summer so I know I am going to have to be a little more consistent with planning my workouts. I did some strength last week which is great for me. I don’t think I have lifted heavy in probably like 5 months so it was a little bit of a struggle and I’m not as strong as I used to be, but I’m glad I did it.

If I stick with it for the next few months I know I will make some improvements. And that’s what it’s all about right? Doing things every day to make you better in the long run. As much as I would love to clean 150# in 2 weeks, there is no way in hell that is going to happen unless I put it hard work consistently. Hell, I would be happen with cleaning 135 or 140 this year haha. Being fit and healthy should be a lifelong journey we strive for, not something we hope to accomplish in a few weeks.
