A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.
This whole marathon training isn’t going as well as I thought it would be. We keep cutting our long runs short and I get pretty tired after about 13 miles. It’s really hard to keep a consistent pace the whole time and we stop a few times with a longer break than we would take if we were running a race. Hopefully I can pull it together the next few weeks!

Wow, you have a really intense well balanced week when it comes to workouts! I love that you get in some intense strength workouts and some good runs! Are you training for a marathon?
Kelly says
Thanks Emily! I am trying to balance running and CrossFit. But yes I am! It is going to be the first week of December!!

Hang in there! I’m not sure what week you’re on for marathon training but my past two marathon training cycles I hit a rut around weeks 5-6… the excitement of training wore off and things started to feel like more of a chore! Then you have a really great run or workout and remember why you’re doing it – it always passed for me after a week or two.
Kelly says
Our marathon is the first week of December so we only have 6 more weeks or so!! I’m hoping for a great run this week to get me back in the groove of it! Thanks for the encouragement Danielle!
