A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.

Weekly Workouts Recap

Can you believe it is almost November!? Where has this month gone? I know in the beginning of the month I said I was going to be more committed to running. Well I think I did the complete opposite. I miss my CrossFit workouts and when I do them I feel like I am losing that stamina I had. As of right now I am still excited for my marathon, but I am just going to try to do as best as I can with training. The goal is under 4 hours right now.

With the holidays right around the corner, I am really going to start focusing on my nutrition. I have been letting myself eat a little too many sweets and drink one too many drinks and it has been catching up to me. My workouts don’t feel as good and I don’t feel as lean as I would like. Fueling my body for my workouts, especially with marathon training, is going to become more of a priority for me. I will talk about this a little more this week!

Sunday – rest day/day after wedding

Monday – Crush workout – upper body

Tuesday – CrossFit WOD

5 x 1 clean & jerk @85%

cash in: 400m run
3 rounds for time:
10 Curtis P’s (1 power clean, 2 front rack lunges (one on each leg), & 1 push press)
10 pull-ups
cash out: 400m run

I worked up to 110# and finished in 14:04 using 65#. See video here.

Wednesday – track workout

1 mile warm-up
4 x 800m (2 minute rest)

I did this on the treadmill. The last 800 was super hard and I had to stop for a little. I haven’t done any track workouts in a long time and it shows.

Thursday – CrossFit WOD

Open WOD 16.4
13:00 AMRAP
55 deadlifts (225/155)
55 wallballs (20/14)
55 calorie row
55 handstand push-ups

I got to 15 HSPU using 105#

Friday – training run

7.5 miles at 7:53 pace.

Saturday – at home CrossFit WOD

21-18-15-12-9-6-3
row for calories
burpees over the rower

Michael’s cousin had a rower at his house so I made up a short workout to get my heart going. I didn’t time myself.
