Doing Things
The month started off with me doing the Whole30! If you missed why I did it, I linked a why I did it and how was I feeling as I went through above. The first weekend I ran the Cap 10k with a bunch of friends. First time I have ran that far in awhile and it felt good (for the most part).
I got to hang out with the cool family behind the company Siete. They are seriously the kindest people and opened their house up to some local bloggers for an epic dinner. The chef there is amazing!!
I went out to brunch with a few girlfriends at Pitchfork Pretty. It was good, but I prefer their dinner menu. We also hit up the CraftHER event afterwards which was fun. I picked up a few cute things.
I also had lunch at Forthright one day with my friend Colleen. I love their menu there and everything is always so delicious.
To finish off the month I attended Danika Brysha’s event The Brunch Series and it was so inspiring. She is truly amazing and helping so many women get out of their comfort zone and do epic shit. I highly recommend if she is coming to your area. We hit up some ramen (no noodles for me!) and bowling with our friends that weekend as well.
What I am loving
I was kind of nervous and excited to do the Whole30. Turns out I liked it a lot more than I thought. I really needed to get back to the basics of eating and it helped so much with that. I enjoyed so much delicious food and stopped tracking my macros (post on that coming soon). I am still reintroducing some things and it is going pretty well. Nothing crazy bad happening so far.
Our outside patio!! After trying to decide what kind of furniture to get, Michael just decided to build some and it turned out great! We got some cushions and it’s perfect!
Now onto May, which is more than halfway over ha!
