Recapping July 2017!
Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend! I am looking forward to getting some work done and then on Sunday my CrossFit is celebrating 5 years by having a boat party! I can’t wait.
It’s crazy how July is over and we only have one month of summer left! I know it is going to fly by so I hope I can take advantage of it. Here is what went down in July for me!

Doing Things
The beginning of the month was pretty relax. We hung out with our friends over 4th of July weekend, had a CrossFit party at our gym, hit up a pool party, and grilled out.
Later that week we went to a movie in the park. They were playing Aladdin and I forgot how much I loved that movie. Such a classic.
We also reunited with our bike gang (just a bunch of our friends that have bikes) and rode our bikes down to Barton Springs. It was probably a 5ish mile ride. We hung out at the springs for awhile and then rode back home, stopping for some beers on the way home. Micheal and I also went to yoga at the springs that week. I need to do more yoga in my life.
Mid-month I headed home for a week for a friend’s bachelorette party and to hang out with my family for a week at the beach. We hung out, went berry picking, went shopping, went out on the boat, ate good food, went to see Gary Clark Jr. live, and just relaxed. It was just what I needed.
What I am loving
The beach – well to be more specific the water. I forgot how much I like being near the open water. I didn’t go to the beach on vacation, but we went out on the boat every day. I grew up doing those things and you forget how fun they are when you don’t do them for a little while.
Roasted cauliflower. We got this as an app one night at dinner and it was bomb. I have never tried to roast a whole head so it’s definitely going to be on my to do list.
And last, but certainly not least, hanging with my family. I don’t get to see them that often since I live half way across the country, but it was awesome being with them for a week. We might be bat sh*t crazy when we are together, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Now bring on August and my birthday month!

I’m so glad you got to spend time with family and friends this month; that’s always a blessing especially when you don’t get to see them a lot. You did a ton of beautiful recipes this month!
And summer is just flying by; I love soaking in all of this sunshine. 🙂
