Recapping September 2016!
This month was just as packed as last month. I am excited for fall where you aren’t constantly traveling, attending people’s parties/weddings, and have plans every weekend. I do have an event this weekend and then we have 2 weddings coming up this month though so we will be pretty busy.

Ramblings
No ramblings last month! Guess I didn’t have much to talk about ;p
Doing Things
Labor Day weekend kicked off with a friend’s 30th birthday party. We went out to dinner at Juniper with friends Friday night and then she had a pool party on Saturday. Such a fun way to end the summer. The next weekend was another one of our friend’s birthday party. She had a wine and cheese party where people wear sweats/leggings/PJs. Everyone brought a bottle of wine and we taste tested and picked a winner. Such a fun night! And look at that spread. Damnnnn!
The third weekend I had a CrossFit comp with a few local gyms. After that we headed to Hamilton Pool since we had got tickets months before without knowing about the competition. It wouldn’t be a trip to Hamilton Pool without visiting Proof & Cooper afterwards. They have the best food and drinks!
Towards the end of the month I had a blogger event at The Lab where we got try their 4 signature workouts and samples from their healthy juice and food bar. The classes were great and the food was even better! We finished out September by going to see The Lumineers! I have seen them a few years back and the second time was just as good as the first!
What I am loving
I can’t really think of that many things, but here are a few!
Our good friends are OBSESSED (yes, caps are needed) with Maudie’s. They go a decent amount of time and we have joined them a few times. They have this power bowl that is spinach, rice, beans, pico, avocado, and a little cheese and then I add fajita veggies and grilled shrimp to it. I freakin love it and crave it now. Gotta replicate it for the blog!
We have kinda been obsessing over these fries. We usually always have 2 kinds of potatoes (red & sweet) already cooked the fridge. We have just been grabbing them and making the fries for an easy side for dinner or breakfast.
This hummus. I usually try to make my own since it is a lot cheaper and it is usually less fat, but they had it on sale at Whole Foods and I can’t pass up a good deal on food. The flavors are so unique too!
And now that it is officially October, I am making all things pumpkin! Stay tuned for a lot more recipes!
