Recapping October 2016!
2016 is heading out fast! I can’t believe the holiday season is pretty much here. October was jammed packed. We headed back east 2 times for weddings and I had a blogging event on another. I am ready for November to be more relaxing. Let’s get into all things October!

Ramblings
No ramblings last month! Guess I didn’t have much to talk about ;p
Doing Things
Is it sad that I have to look through my photos to see what I did this past month? I legit can barely remember last week. Signs of getting old.
The first weekend started off with my friend and I going to one of the ACL late night shows. Michael and I decided not to go to ACL Fest this year since we had two weddings we had to travel to in mid October. My friend Danielle and I saw Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. They were so freaking good! The band jammed out so much and he sounds just as good as you would hear on the radio. It was def an eclectic group of guys.
I attended Blog Her Food and got to meet some cool companies and learn some good stuff about blogging. It is definitely overwhelming at times, but so fun as well. I had a happy hour with AFBA which was a lot of fun! We went to a PhoNatic and it was pretty tasty. We also had a social for Crush. We went to Top Golf, which was obviously a blast. For a bunch of fitness obsessed people, no one was really that great at golf except a few. Not sure if the excess alcohol was helping or hindering :p
The middle of the month was filled with a lot of traveling. We went to a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA for one of Michael’s cousins wedding. It was gorgeous weather and good to see that side of his family! The following weekend we headed to Raleigh, NC for another one of Michael’s cousins weddings. This one was so fun! One of my favs we have been to!
The month finished out with anther AFBA event, this time at Prohibition Creamery. Ice cream and booze mixed together, what a fun concept!
What I am loving
Fall produce! I’m so excited for all the squashes, root veggies, leafy greens, pomegranates, and all that goodness. I am a lover of roasted veggies and these cooler months have so many options for you to throw in the oven.
Dressing up! I am usually in my workout clothes all day (hello 2 jobs at 2 different gyms), but since we have 2 weddings I got to dress up for them! I was fun to get all dolled up and actually do my makeup for once haha.
I haven’t gone into this too much on the blog yet, but I am counting my macros and loving it so far. It gets a little tough here and there, but so far so good. My workouts/runs feel great and I feel a lot leaner. I will go into more detail on why I decided to do it at some point.
Bring on November! I’m ready for the fall weather and straight chilling on the weekends!! 🙂

I know right, I’m so looking forward to a chill November. I’ll keep you posted. I have done it in the past, and it worked well, I just got tired of it after awhile. We will see how it goes this time!
