A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.
Happy Monday! I am writing this on Sunday and by the time it publishes, I’ll hopefully be in route to Asheville, NC to hang with my family for a few days. We are feeling the effects of hurricane Harvey though so I really have no idea if my flight is going to be delayed or not. Luckily Austin just got a lot of rain and wind, with just a little bit of flooding. Some other cities were not as lucky as us and I’m hoping everyone stays safe.
Last week workouts were not the best and due to the weather our competition was canceled this weekend. We were all pretty bummed though since we have been training for the past 2 months. I have especially been working really hard since the weights are pretty heavy for me. So I was pretty disappointed when I found out, but was a little relieved. Not gonna lie, I was nervous haha! I know I can do the weights/workouts, but I was nervous thinking about them.
It kind of sucked working that hard for the last 2 months and then having the competition canceled, but I need to remember that it’s not like my gains will go to waste. I needed to work on getting stronger and this was a great way to do it. I just wasn’t able to test them out. I’m excited to keep working on my weaknesses though and see how much I can improve over the next few months.
