A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.

Weekly Workouts Recap

Happy Monday! I am so ready for a new week. Last week was completely insane! If you didn’t know, I took over the @whole30recipes feed for the whole entire week. It was SO MUCH FUN!! But is was also a lot of work. I don’t think I have been on social media that much in like forever. It was amazing connecting with so many people and seeing lots of people make my recipes. It just brought me so much happiness. That being said, I’m ready for this week and to get back to normal!

On Saturday I headed downtown with some friends for a #gethealthygettogether hosted by Camille Styles. It was a 30 minute barre based worked, 5 minute guided mediation, a short panel on with some awesome Austin women in the health and wellness scene, and then food and drinks from a few local companies. I have never done a barre workout and it was definitely a change from what I am used to doing. All those little muscle movements are tough! I don’t know if I could see myself doing it on the regular, but it was fun to try it out and see a different style of working out. I am definitely trying to broaden my horizon when it comes to fitness.

I’ve seen Chrissa from Physical Kitchness knock out some of those really tough Barre moves that look like they take a lot of finesse. Barre is no joke just like Crossfit. It’s amazing how there are so many tough workouts out there, yet they are all so different.

I totally agree! Chrissa is a BA when it comes to barre. It is such a good chance of pace to try new things too!
