A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.
Happy Monday! Back on the daily grind!! This week is short for me so I want to make sure I get in some solid workouts. Last week was a good week for working out. I have really been enjoying my long runs and CrossFit lately. My body has been liking the mixing up of my workouts too. PS – do you like my new kicks! Feel like I’m running on clouds!
Sunday – Crush workout (endurance & total body)
Monday – CrossFit WOD
1 rep max snatch
2 rounds for time:
400m run
30 air squats
20 burpees
10 power snatches (155/105)
I finished in 10:51 using 75#. I worked up to 85# in my snatch. I haven’t worked on it in soo long, so happy with that.
Tuesday – rest day
Wednesday – track workout
10x400m with either a 1:30 or 400m recovery jog (rotating every other)
Thursday – Titan Evolution workout
Push Press
1×10 @ 75%
1×8 @ 80%
1×8 @ 85%
then…
5 rounds:
8 push press @ 50-60%
200m run
:30 overhead hold
:30 negative push press (45)
:30 overhead squats (45)
Tried a new place with one of my friends. It was a CrossFit style workout, but was nice to try out a new place and have a change of scenery. Shoulders were smoked after this one.
Friday – 8 mile run
Another run around Town Lake with my friend and jumping into Barton Springs after.
Saturday – CrossFit WOD
5 rounds for time:
400m run
15 burpees
15 wallballs (20/14)
15 kettlebell swings (53/35)
I finished in 17:23 RX. This workout was my jam!
