A recap of my weekly workouts from the previous week.

Weekly Workouts Recap

Happy Monday!! I hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing holiday with their friends and family. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, then I hope you had an awesome weekend. My weekend was spent with my family mostly just relaxing and eating delicious food. So many treats and not a lot of physical activity. Life is all about balance though. Sometimes you eat veggies and protein and sometimes you eat candy and your moms mashed potatoes. While this weekend was such a nice break from my norm, I am so ready to get back in the gym today. I hope everyone else gets back in there and keep working towards your goals!

Sunday – CrossFit workout at open gym

6×4 back squats, increasing weight

20:00 EMOM
odd: 15 burpees
even: 16/14 calorie row

We started off with doing that for the first 10 mins and then went down to 12 burpees and 12 calorie row for the second half.

Monday – CrossFit City Limits workout

For Time:
30 box jumps (24/20)
30 chest to bar pull-ups
30 KB swings (53/35)
30 front squats (115/80)
30 toes to bar
30 push press
30 deadlifts
30 wallballs (20/14)
30 burpees
30 double unders

I finished in 17:45 (or somewhere around there) using 65#.

Tuesday – CrossFit City Limits workout

The Chief
5 rounds
3:00 AMRAP
3 power cleans (135/95)
6 push-ups
9 air squats
1:00 rest
*only full rounds count

I finished with a total of 29 rounds (6+6+6+5+6) using 85#.

Wednesday – rest day

Thursday – CrossFit City Limits workout

20:00 AMRAP
2 strict ring muscle ups
12 KB swings (70/53)
22 assault bike calories

I got 5 rounds plus 2 calories doing 2 strict pull-ups and using 45#.

Friday – rest day

Saturday – CrossFit City Limits workout

12 Days of Christmas WOD!
1 power snatch (115/80)
2 OH squats
3 SDHP
4 push-ups
5 burpees
6 toes to bar
7 pull-ups
8 HSPU
9 abmat sit-ups
10 thrusters
11 deadlifts
12 hang squat cleans

I finished in 30:05 using 65#. The way the workout works is you do 1 snatch, then 1 snatch 2 OHS, then 1 snatch 2 OHS 3 SDHP, and so on. My time was slower than last year and I used less weight. I could have went harder, but I just wanted to get in a good sweat.
