Grab a friend and do this 20 minute Partner WOD consisting of box jumps, kettlebell swings, burpee pull-ups, and a weighted run!

Making the Gains - 20 minute Partner WOD

Yay for a partner workout!! These workouts are usually the best, especially if you have a rocking partner like I did. We kicked some major ass and even beat one of our coaches that was working out in the class. Partner workouts can be great because you push each other without even knowing it. You don’t want to slow down or stop and let down your partner. It is great to have someone to feed off of and get a good flow going with getting through the movements. I would suggest finding someone of your same fitness level, or maybe someone a little stronger than you that will push you to your limits.

The workout goes like this. You and your partner have 20 minutes to compete the sequence of movements as many times as possible. This is how we split up the reps:

100 box jumps – each of us would do 10 and then switch off
15 kettlebell swings – each of us would do 10 and then switch off
50 burpee pull-ups – each of us would do 5 and then switch off
400m wallaby carry – carry it as far as possible and then switch (we each did about 200m)

We finished 1 round plus 23 burpee pull-ups RX (prescribed). Find yourself a partner and get moving! Also, sorry for the shitty picture. It is off my phone because I forgot to take a real one. Whoops!
