Prep the salmon by patting it dry and letting it come to room temperature for a few minutes. Make the mayo if needed.*
Season flesh of salmon with salt and pepper. Spread 1 tablespoon of chipotle mayo on each filet, spreading out evenly. Sprinkle with a little more pepper if desired. Place salmon in your air fryer basket and set to 6-8 minutes at 400 degrees. Time will depend on how thick your salmon is and your desired preference for fish. Salmon is done when it flakes with a fork.
Oven Chipotle Salmon
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

*to make this recipe as quick and easy as possible, make the mayo in advance. I find this works best too as it has a chance to firm up some and stays on the salmon easier.You can easily scale this recipe to however many pieces of salmon you would like to make.
