  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • juice from 1/2-1 lemon or lime, depending on taste
  • 3 cups packed kale or spinach or 1 1/2 cups frozen spinach
  • 1/3 of a large cucumber (100 grams)
  • 1/2 large green apple (100 grams)
  • 1/4 of a large avocado (50 grams, frozen*)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1-2 inches fresh ginger, depending on taste


  • Add all ingredients in the order listed to a Vitamix or high powered blender and blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy as a smoothie or as a smoothie bowl with desired toppings!



*Avocado does not need to be frozen, but makes the smoothie cold without adding ice. If your avocado is not frozen, just add a few ice cubes, but be careful to not water it down too much so it keeps a creamy consistency. If you use frozen spinach, then avocado does not need to be frozen.
